Today I mashed Jay Z – Threat with Eumir Deodato – Also Sprach Zarathustra. Deodato’s version of Zarathustra is an amazing funk arranging of Strauss‘s classic. It was a hit in the 70’s in United States. Deodato is one of my favorite arrangers, he made a lot of arrangements for Antônio Carlos Jobim as well. Prelude was released in 1973.
