Today I am starting my biggest challenge so far! I will mashup the “Kind o Blue” album from Miles Davis with Snoop Dogg. I choose this album from Miles because it’s the most famous jazz recording of all time, it’s revolutionary because of the modal chord changes and it has almost all my favorite jazz musicians in it (Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Bill Evans). I choose Snoop because in my opinion he is one of the creators of cool rap, his smooth voice and phrasing are perfect with the cool jazz album from Miles. You’re right. It is definitely a challenge to MASH miles davis + snoop dogg. Sorry, I don’t think it works as well as the brazilian combos.
Maybe, it’s because I understand snoop dogg’s english too clearly. Or my ear has built acoustic walls around the jazz standards. IDK.

voltei de um grande intervalo sem internet… vez por outra, o bicho pega por aqui, daí passo um tempinho offline… mas é isso, agora to de volta, deu pra pegar o bonde de onde eu parei, ouvir o que ainda não tinha ouvido, e enfim, to feliz por poder voltas a acompanhar tudo rotineiramente… miles davis é muito bom, e snoop dogg eu adoro!
